Kamchatka. 1. Tours by dog sledges and skidoos

¹ 1.1. The excursion to the sport-tourist base "Kamchadal"

Duration: 3 hours / 6 hours
Transportation: by dog sledges, by skidoos
The cost includes: transport expenses, service of a guide, excursion in the dog nursery, instructing, insurance, a walk, snacking during the tour.

The tour starts from checking and examination of personal tourist equipment and excursion in the base «Kamchadal», where the nursery «Siberian Fang» of Kamchatkan sledge dogs is situated. The excursion is 30 minute long. Experienced dog team driver  makes instructing about the rules how to handle with the team. The group takes seats  in the skidoos and keeps riding with the sledge. Tourists change skidoos to sledge in the course of riding. On return to the base tourists will be invited to the open-air cages of sport-sledge riding dogs.
Country skiing can be offered along the marked way of 3 and 5 km.

The distance of 3-hour riding is 20 km  and of  6-hour riding - 60 km.

A note: tourists are required to be nicely equipped for winter conditions: warm high boots, a sport windproof jacket, warm glows and hat, UV protection grasses. Dogs can be feed only at presence and agree of instructor.  The skies, including children’s, the snow-foots can be hired in the base.

¹ 1.2. Travel to the foot of Avachinski Volcano

Duration: 6 hours
Transport: by dog sledges, by skidoos
The cost includes: transport expenses, service of a guide, excursion in the dog nursery, instructing, insurance, a walk, snacking during the tour.

The travel begins from training how to drive the team and instructing about safety rules, then starts the ride of 70 km.
It is unforgettable adventure in the foots of "domestic" volcanoes, riding with a stop and a picnic at the right slope of Avachinski Volcano.  For the individuals, who loves mountain skiing we can provide extra elevation along the slope for the purpose of skiing down (mount. skies or snowboard).

A note: tourists are required to be nicely equipped for winter conditions: warm high boots, a sport windproof jacket, warm glows and hat, UV protection grasses. In the case of skiing down planned the skies or snowboards should be taken.

¹1. 3. Travel to Avachinski Volcano

Duration: 2 days
Transport: dog sledges, skidoos
The cost includes: transport expenses, service of a guide, excursion in the dog nursery, instructing, insurance, a walk, snacking during the tour.

The tour starts from excursion in the nursery «Siberian Fang» of Kamchatkan sledge dogs. All tourists go  instructing about safety rules  and training how to drive the team. On setting the dog-team the group starts riding, in the course of riding each tourist can try himself in driving the dog-team. After return to the camp people will have dinner. On dinning there can be organized an extra elevation of the group  for skiing down by skies or sledges. In the evening there will be a party supper. In the morning after breakfast tourists can walk or have country or mountain skiing. The group starts the way back in the afternoon.

¹ 1. 4. Travel to the foot of Avachinski and Koryakski Volcanoes

Duration: 4 hours
Transport: dog sledges, skidoos
The cost includes: transport expenses, service of a guide, excursion in the dog nursery, instructing, insurance, a walk, snacking during the tour.

The travel begins from training how to drive the team and instructing about safety rules. Then starts riding dog sledges and skidoos to the foot of two volcanoes mentioned with a stop for picnic.
