The Park of Nature, situated in the picturesque valley of Nalycheva River and called by its’ name, is untouched treasure of nature of Kamchatka.
The Park owes impressive mountain, tundra and coastal landscapes. The local climate of the Nalycheva River Valley determines variety of flora and fauna. A number of different hot and cold mineral water outcomes was always attractive for tourists to visit. The Park is the place where amazing in their beauty woods of Erman’s birch.
Among 33 species of mammals, inhabiting the Park, the biggest one is a black bear. A lot of bears can be seen in the upper stream of Nalycheva River in summer during salmon spawning run and ripening of berries. The slopes of volcanoes and rocks are the area of snow sheep. Ninety species of birds are nesting in the Park, including endangered and protected brents, Steller’s sea-eagles, white-tailed eagles, falcons, golden eagles. In the whole in the valley there are 145 species of birds can be met.
The geographical position of the Park of Nature allows widely using the place for tourism. The southern boundary coincides with the green belt boundary of P-K and Yelizovo. From Pinachevo Settlement tourists can reach the Park by foot using the path of 44 km. Citizens of P-K, not only experienced tourists, but also amateurs, scholars use to trek along the path to visit the valley for fun of rest. There is a base camp in the Park, where from people undertake radial trips to springs and other interesting places in the valley to see.
In spring the valley is usually full of clean snows to provide a nice sun burn under the crystal blue skies, country skiing and ski-doo riding, mountain skiing on the slopes of volcanoes surrounding the valley.
